What began as a handful of songs written by Chiara Maccioni, soon evolved into the foundation of Violet Harbour. In 2025, Chiara connected with Marcus Edge (guitar), Lex Bailey (drums), and Siobhan Nguyen (Bass), initially as a backing band - but their chemistry quickly transformed into something more. 

Together, they discovered a shared, unique sound that blends all their personal inspiration as well as raw emotion and melodic grit. Chiara’s whimsical, intimate vocals contrast with Marcus’ magnetic raw guitar sound and Lex and Siobhan’s driving groove. Currently working with producer Paul Mckercher on their debut EP, Violet Harbour are shaping a unique sound that captures the nostalgia of the 90s whilst embracing a bold, contemporary edge - music that feels both familiar and entirely their own.
