Dare to step into the unknown?….

1800-DEATH-TRAP are back from the dead to bring you their latest creation: ‘The Jaunt’.

Stephen Kings’ short story The Jaunt is a parable beyond comprehension. Far surpassing any concept in the realm of horror, it explores the notion of eternal consciousness and teleportation, making the reaper look like something to die for.
Witness the mayhem as 1800-DEATH-TRAP celebrate life and death at The Townie in honour of their honkin’, clock-stopping single on Saturday the 27th of July.

Sam Bucca

(Sydney, nsw)
An emotive songwriter, telling tales of unity & grief.

Sam Bucca is a prolific songwriter who has effortlessly traversed melodic folk-punk and progressive hard rock. Possessing the storytelling skills of a savvy novelist, Sam Bucca delivers an acoustic punch in the face, protest-style akin to Billy Bragg. ‘Occasional unorthodoxy’ typifies Sam Bucca, offering a hybrid style—a lyrical pied piper who carries listeners along, transfixed by masterful lyricism and revealing revelations of inner growth coupled with societal progression. The Lithgow Valley artist commenced writing clever and wry political commentary some sixteen years ago with his track Lead On. But, as an empath who’s genuinely interested in the human experience and everyday observations of how we manage our hearts in a brutal world. Sam Bucca is ever more masterful after almost twenty years of tenacious trials and enormous errors. From Wiradjuri Country, Sam Bucca will continue to breathe his particular pedagogy to all. Wherever Sam goes, love and admiration follow.
